Tano

Anthony Tano was the first candidate to successfully complete the PhD Business Administration program at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Prior to this remarkable achievement, he had received MBA in Oil & Gas Management, a program jointly run by Coventry University, UK and Ghana Communication Technology University.
His academic journey also includes MSc in Development Planning & Management as well as BSc in Planning (First Class Honours), both from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. With a career spanning close to 20 years, he has made significant contributions to both the private consulting sector and academia.
He has considerable research, teaching and consultancy experiences with a particular focus on program development, results-based management, and program monitoring and evaluation.
As a Development Planner and Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, he has been involved in several programs and projects funded by local and international agencies including Global Affairs Canada, World Bank, World Vision International, Korea International Cooperation Agency, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Presently, Dr. Tano serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at GIMPA Business School, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to aspiring business leaders and scholars.
The main focus of his research is on understanding the influence of the exchange relationships between leaders and their members on individual, group and organizational effectiveness in collectivist societies.
